For My Mum on Mothers Day

I do enjoy making these even if they do take hours to cut and put together. This is smaller than the one I made for Dawn, but still stands about 18" high. Hope people don't get fed up with seeing them as I've made a few more. The cutting file from 3DSVG.com this is just my take on it.

Hope you like them, please leave a comment if you have time, thanks...

A Valentine for Tony

I made this from a cutting file I bought from 3DSVG.com quite an easy one to follow and cut out like a dream on my Black Cat Cougar, but it took masses of 12 x 12 card to make, I think I will resize it before I make another one, to at least half the size as it's very big, lol, but it does look great in real life.
Hope you like it.  My hubby did, please leave a comment if you have time, thanks...

A Vase for Dawn

I've fallen behind again in my blogging, not even shown a Christmas Card, so must put that to rights.
I've been playing with my black cat again, using a file from 3DSVG.com It is supposed to be for Valentines but I thought it would work well as a Birthday card. So here is my simplified birthday version of the hearts bouquet vase I made for my sister.

A special card for a special couple..

I hope that one day we will be amongst  the lucky people that reach their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Our friends of many years celebrated their Diamond Wedding on Saturday by renewing their vows and having a fabulous party, we felt very honoured to be invited to celebrate along with them and their lovely family. Here is the card I made for them.

Snow men

Since watching a youtube video a couple of years ago, I kept meaning to make these, finally got around to it at the weekend. They look so cute, as the video suggested I used rice for the filling but I'll think I'll try a different stuffing for the next lot. Only noticed through taking the photo the straggly bits on the scarf, have now tidied them up.

Halloween again....

Halloween cards for my 3 great nephews and one just because I liked it. They are quite large cards, printed onto glossy good quality photo paper, decoupaged, added a bit of glitter and googly eyes. The top half of the body sits on the shelf and the legs dangle over the edge. Good fun, kids love them

Halloween sweetie treats

The coffin was a free svg file from 3dsvg.com. Makes a great box for the kids sweets. I enlarged the files to about twice the size of the original as I wanted it big enough for a few packets of sweets.

Lanterns for Halloween

Well it's that spooky time of year again. I really enjoyed making these lanterns, used inkscape with signcut to cut them them using my black cat cougar. The panels were printed on to vellum. Both SVG files are available to buy from from 3dsvg.com.

This strange yellow picture is me trying to take a photo in the dark so it would show how it glows with a tea light in it, but as usual it didn't come out well. Never mind thought I'd share anyway, if I take a better pic I'll change it.

This was made for my niece, printed onto Costo photo paper. Decoupage the hat and the hat bow. Background printed in CAP2. Matted it onto black card, added the ribbon, made the bow and used a silver embleshment on it.. Matted that onto an 8x8 card that I had stamped with a flourish stamp and glittered. Finally added some black and white flowers, white leaves and some gems. Glittered her lips and the bow and ribbon on the hat..

Mothers Day..

I made this for my Mum's Mothers Day card.It was an 8x8 card.
I embossed centura pearl cardstock with the Regency Swirls  embossing folder. Printed the greeting on to the same cardstock and cut the edge with curved borders 2 die. I then cut 3 more borders alternating between the ivory and lavender pearlised card. Layered them onto the embossed card. Added a matching ribbon and some gems and pearls. (I did put back the gem that fell off but had already taken the photo lol...)

I stamped the flowers petals using the Arianna Blooms stamp with a clear ink and embossed them using Seafoam White embossing powder then  cut them out using the die. I shaped the flower petals and coloured them with Milled Lavender Distress ink. Cut the stamens with a die and layered the petals to form the flowers and added a pearl in the centre of each one. Cut some swirls and glittered them and the flowers with crystal glitter. I loved making the flowers and can see myself making lots more of them in different colour ways.

I made this for Tony's Valentines card. The heart shaped card was from Craft Creations, as was the glitter paper I covered it with. The flowers were from my stash. I used a Heartfelt Creations stamp and die for the leaves, coloured with Distress Ink. The main flower was cut  in black card using a Heartfelt creations die. Ribbon and gems from stash.

2 commissioned cards..

The request for these two cards were they had to be quite flat as they were carried to a land down under in a suitcase and then brought back  to the UK. I  made this from an image from the Frou Frou CD, adjusted it in CAP, then took it into Inkscape to print the decoupage and to make the topper. Added a few gems and some glitter to give it a bit of bling

Did I mention I love this die...so elegant ..kept it simple.

Works for both

Here is the Anniversary card I made for my hubby, even though I used pearls I think it was still quite a masculine card. It was a 7 x7 card base which I think worked well.

I used the same Sue Wilson die to make this card for my sisters 60th. This was on an 8x8
card base, so I needed to use more mats under the topper to bring it up to size. Added some bling and some lovely flowers to make it more girly.

Now some for the Kids....

A rocker card, the decoupage was  from Lynzeysplace, I resized it and I added  a few bits using CAP. Printed it all out on Costco's photo paper and cut it by hand. Added lot of glitter too.. it was a large card, but I though it was perfect for a 1st Birthday.
Now I loved this..when I finished it...the backing paper was a shimmer paper that changed colour depending on which angle you viewed it from.  The FREDDIE   I did in CAP2  changed it to an svg and cut it on my cougar. The image was from the web I've no idea where, it's a character from a childrens TV program that Freddie liked.
The image of the girl was from a  decoupage sheet I bought in a bundle at a boot sale. That was such a good buy, must have got over 100 sheets lots of doubles but that didn't mater...think I've only ever cut this one up though..lol..about time I used some more.   The backing papers are from my stash, I added the ribbons, a lot of glitter, gems and charms.

Using the stork again, printed the backing paper, the brother letters are from a crafters companion cd, which I made into an svg in CAP2 and cut on my cougar. The lace was from Pinflair, glitter gems and ribbon from stock.
Hope you like, please leave a comment if you have time...
